Horrible service department and communication. I will never come here again. I called and spoke to a lady in the service department. I told her that our 2019 Optima (bought brand new from them) had paint peeling off of the hood and asked if that was something that was covered under warranty. The lady on the phone said yes and made an appointment. I drove over an hour for my appointment just for the guy at the counter to tell me that it was not covered under warranty and asked if I wanted an estimate for them to repaint it. They obviously just wanted to get me here. There is no way the paint should be peeling off the hood after only 5 years. I will never buy another Kia after this experience.

After having a terrible experience at Greenway Kia Longwood, I took the opportunity to meet with Justin Benevides at Deland Kia. Justin provided my wife and I amazing service, was able to really listen to our family needs and helped us to drive off with a car we loved same day. Deland Kia also provides great benefits for anyone who purchases their vehicle there, in addition to your vehicle warranty. Andrew, John, and Brad were my team at the dealership. They were absolutely amazing and guided me through every process; answering even some of the most ridiculous questions. They gave me many options and treated me with great respect. I would recommend this dealer over any in the county as I have been to most of them: shopping for cars for months! BEYOND happy with my experience at Deland Kia! They gave me the most for my trades (I traded 2 cars in) and they worked around my nurse schedule which is 7a-7p and Keegan my salesman, had all the paperwork ready for me to sign so it wasn’t a long, drawn out process like most dealerships. I can’t say enough good things about him, it was an amazing experience and I’m so happy with my new ride🥳👏
If you are looking for a car, ask for Keegan he will make the process fast, easy, and efficient! He even helped me transfer all my belongings from my van to my new car in 40 degree weather! Such a great guy!!

What a gratifyingly low-key purchase. It started with a call (with Alexandra,) who was very easy to interact with and continually responsive in multiple interactions we had that evening. We landed on a very fair price within an hour. No "gotcha" extra costs, no "Oh, and there's this" stuff. Just the fees you expect and the ones disclosed on the web site.
The next day Justin at the dealership handled the transaction in as chill of a way as one can have. Zero pressure. Friendly, professional and undistracted. Piece-o-cake. Overall, it took the typical few hours common at any dealership, mostly due to required paperwork. No "gotcha's".
I visited other dealerships and the ones that are part of a big group or conglomerate proved to be the most unpleasant, pressuring and untrustworthy. I've walked out on a few. DeLand doesn't seem to operate that way.
The waiting room itself is due for a refresh (think waiting for service to complete) but it's not that bad.
At the very least, if you see a vehicle you like then you might consider giving these guys a shot first. It might be worth the drive.

I will never go to another dealer! Hands down best service and nicest people! Not looking to screw you over and just sell something. I pulled up in my recently purchased used vehicle told Jacob T I wanted to trade in my vehicle because I had horrible service with another dealership and needed something more reliable. Ended up making the numbers work and walked out with a beautiful 2025 K5! Jacob T was patient and kind and listened made sure to show me everything he could about the car and even called to make sure I still love it and haven’t had any issues figuring out any of the features!! Then Jacob in finance was the icing on the cake! He was so sweet and funny and remembers details! He went above and beyond and even went out of his way to make sure we got the best deal and gave some much needed advice on another matter! I would 100000% recommend stopping by to have a look even if you aren’t sure what you are going to look at they are great at listening and recommending different vehicles based on your realistic needs! Not only that but the warranties and oil changes for life is a cherry on top!
