I’ve been a loyal customer of Hollywood Kia for a long time, but today I decided to visit Gunther Kia Fort Lauderdale, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with professionalism and efficiency.

Chris was an absolute standout—he previously worked at Hollywood Kia, so I was happy to see a familiar face. He went above and beyond to assist me, ensuring I got a same-day appointment and that my car was assessed and repaired within an hour. The level of service and attention to detail was truly exceptional.

Because of Chris and the overall experience at Gunther Kia, I’m making this my go-to dealership from now on. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch service, efficiency, and a team that truly cares about their customers.

Gunther Kia is always a pleasure to work with. I had my car serviced today and Rommel was my service specialist. He could not have been more thorough or professional. From my car serviced, I went to get an appraisal next door and Leo Gutierrez helped me. He tried to put me into a new lease but we could not make the numbers work. He was so good and I felt comfortable with what he was telling me. I would definitely go to both of these young men for future assistance.

We typically have always had a positive experience at Gunther Kia. This last time was a nightmare! We typically have always had Jessica as our advisor (love her!). Though this time we had Fran. He outright lied to us in multiple ways. From an estimate that increased to over $200 - without obtaining approval to telling us when the car would be ready. Additionally, he said he would call us when the call would be ready for pick-up, which he never did. 4:30 *WE* called to see if the car was ready, and were informed that it had been ready for: "hours." We had no idea, never received a call or a text with notification. We had plans late afternoon/evening and informed him that we would pick up the car the next morning. Fran became increasingly rude and said they would have to charge us for the rental for the day. For a lack of informing us that the car was ready, now it's an emergency for us? We've been trying to get in touch with the Service Manager and the General Manager to express our extreme negative experiences and at the moment we haven't gotten a return call.

Something has changed at Gunther Kia and not is a positive, good way.

Ronald welcomed us at the entry and took such a good care of my husband and I. We did a test drive of a car I’ve seen online and he showed us other models. We ended up buying the car I found online which is a Kia Forte. The process was easy, quick and very welcoming. He explained everything and tried his best to make the process as easy as possible. We initially came here because the other dealership we went sold the car I had reserved online. I believe everything was meant to be and I’m feeling extremely grateful for the help I got. Highly recommend !

I've been a Gunther customer starting since 1987, first with Mazda & now with Kia. The service people are nice but the whole process has gone way beyond fancy & not in a good way. Gunther service could do well to simply ask the customer what their preferences are & then deliver on that. I left feeling like I got serviced/videoed/jargoned on & needed to wipe myself off when I left. Example, I went in for an oil change & tire rotation. Turns out I needed a battery too. Technician told me I needed a 12v battery. I'm thinking I put a 9v battery in my fire alarm, the car takes a 12v...? Also, if I were a mechanic, a video of the underside of my vehicle might be interesting, even more so if it had audio. I was able to see my spare tire & confirm no bodies were under my car. Not exactly service, but not bad. Also, there's a mysterious smudge on my car now. No dent, just a smudge.
