Impressed once again by the salesperson, Jonathan Campos and all the other staff I encountered through my recent leasing experience. They made the experience easy and respectful. My overall experience was good, the sales manager, Lamore, was very helpful and willing to work with me during the negotiation. Peter- the salesman, was creepy, a much older gentleman was using flirting as his business tactic, it made me a little uncomfortable. He kept referencing- MULTIPLE TIMES- taking me out on a date, and complementing my beauty, which is fine, but I just wanted the car. The interior of the car was not cleaned out, crumbs everywhere and scuffs that could’ve been wiped down
before I drove off. But overall, a smooth business transaction.

We had an appointment at 1 pm, didn’t even negotiated price, saw two cars, no test drive, and we still have not received the car at 5:40.

The dealer(Axel) didn’t even fully explained to us about the drive out price. (Not even talking about breakdown)
when we had to ask,
He first gave us wrong finance info,
($514 x 48 months, after $15K down, for a 24K Tuscon. Ridiculous and very sketchy. He said he didn’t even catch it.)

We tried to be humble customers and made the process very easy. Then The dealer made us sit and wait at the desk for over three hours to process until I got frustrated and tried to find someone else to help us with. No explanation on the reason why the process has been so delayed.

I would not recommend the dealership.
Lack of explanations.
Worst dealership experience ever.

Not a very good experience. The car is good and the finance department was very helpful. The sales portion was not very pleasant. Prior to taking the 1-1/2 hr trip to the dealer I had asked if the prices listed on their website were all inclusive excluding the $895 dealer fees and typical tax/DMV costs. Was confirmed that this was the case via text. While at the dealer all off sudden there was an $1995 charge added for dealer prep. I was also told the price listed would be cash or financed. Again not true I had to finance the car. Told the car would come with two key fobs but after I signed the paperwork only one fob was available. Day of pick up had to wait 2 hrs for detailing even though I scheduled the pick up. Car was very clean but why the wait if it was scheduled. Finally told would get a 90 day free trial for My Hyundai app. Not true only 10 days.

Diagnosed radiator leak. Dropped off January 4, said by Tuesday 7 or 8th it would be ready. It’s the 23rd and it’s delayed again for 3rd time. They ordered a radiator without hoses, installed radiator 2 days ago, but found hoses were bad. Didn’t even mention thermostat. Waiting for hoses that should have been ordered along with radiator and thermostat.
Covered by warranty, made me pay deposit for loaner. Didn’t provide or offer loaner on drop off back on January 4. Still waiting.
Service advisor Izzy and parts manager JJ are personable and provided explanations. Those two are the only highlights at this dealership.
Will update once I receive my car back, but I don’t expect any improvements with the lackluster overall service at Lynnes Hyundai in Bloomfield New Jersey.

Update!: 1/29/25 it still overheats!
Picked up on 1/25/25. After 3 weeks of incurring rental expenses, the job was not properly addressed by Lynne’s Hyundai in Bloomfield NJ

Lynne’s replaced the thermostat 2 days later and the overheating issue is now solved. I’m still waiting for the rental deposit reimbursement from Lynne’s Hyundai. The first 2 weeks rental under warranty work I already submitted to Hyundai corporate. Will update once I receive the reimbursement from Lynne’s and close this loop.
