My brother and I had the pleasure of working with Edgar from the Internet Sales dept at the Puente Hills this past weekend. We were in the market for a car, and needed one quickly. From the first interaction yesterday to signing and picking up the vehicle today, Edgar made for a seamless experience and was on point with his communication every step of the way.

Having purchased and leased quite a large number of cars over the years for both myself and my family, I’ve learned to value good, honest communication and efficiency as my top priorities when working with dealerships. Edgar was flexible with my communication preferences (many texts sprinkled with a few phone calls), and also with his availability for us to schedule our appointment to come sign.

Edgar had the car washed and ready for us when my brother arrived, and my brother was able to test drive around the neighborhood prior to signing, pretty standard. Despite a decent crowd of people given it was a weekend, Edgar managed to get my brother in and out in about ~2 hrs.

5 stars, would definitely work with Edgar and PH Hyundai again if we’re market for a new car.

I recently purchased a pre-owned Kona N from a non-Hyundai dealership and took it in for a recall. The service advisor, Joseph, was very friendly and took care of other things that needed attention. The parts department was super friendly and helpful, unlike other dealers. Associate Steve was very knowledgeable and smoothly guided me through ordering parts for N vehicles. Give them a raise! I am now seriously considering purchasing an i5 N and future vehicles from here!

I had a phenomenal experience with the team at Puente Hills Hyundai. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendliest salesperson, Frank. He helped us through the process of leasing a car, made sure to answer our many questions, diligently checked on us while we waited for the car to be ready, and explained all the features available in great detail. Every department (management, finance, service) was very thorough and went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transaction.

Not only were they helpful in the leasing process, they followed up with me a couple days later to make sure everything was running smoothly. I reached out to Frank because I was having some technical difficulties and he quickly helped me resolve the issue.

All in all, I had a great experience! I’m extremely grateful for all their efforts and their excellent customer service. Thank you.

Bought a car here in August. The experience was great but I never received my title. And of course as you can imagine once you gave your money their no customer service. I end up writing this review because i called at least 5 times but never got someone on the phone... Always being sent to someone else that would not pick up. I also sent at least 5 demands but got no results. So i guess no other choice than leaving the real review. Once you paid their no customer service. I was happy but obviously now for something minor my experience became really bad.

First, the good: Frank Kim, a new salesman, was a delightful human being. He talked to my Dad for weeks about a used car, and he was super nice the whole way through, both over email and in-person.

The bad: it was a complicated deal, so the manager had to come over to "help" us. I cannot overstate how aggressive and rude this guy was. He came over pretending to be nice, but it quickly became obvious that he passive-aggressively wanted nothing to do with us. My parents qualified for a "Replace Your Ride" voucher from the South Coast Air Quality Management District AND they qualified for the federal $4,000 used car EV rebate. The manager said they don't deduct the cost of the federal tax credit from the cost of the vehicle (which sucks, but it is what it is), but then he said, "Most people are grateful to get the money from the Replace Your Ride voucher," and "We're one of the few dealerships that do this, you're going to have a hard time finding another one."

First of all, the side attitude implying, "You should be grateful" was very much NOT appreciated. And he just straight up lied about how many dealerships participate in Replace Your Ride; there are over 30 in SoCal.

Finally, my parents don't have a great credit score, so he made it very clear that they would be priced out of buying the car they were looking to buy.

The sheer arrogance and disdain for the people that are SUPPOSED TO BE HIS CUSTOMERS was mean-spirited and humiliating. I hope this guy's career with this dealership is short.

2 stars, only because of Frank.

I've been a loyal Hyundai customer for over 5 years now, and it's safe to say that one of the main reasons why I continue to come back to the Puente Hills location is the exceptional customer service.

When my 3-year lease on my Elantra was set to end, my mom and I visited the dealership as walk-ins. We were immediately greeted by Frank who was incredibly friendly, personable, and attentive. It was my first time looking into EVs, so understandably, we had tons of questions. I'm primarily an English speaker whereas my mom primarily speaks Korean, and Frank was easily able to accommodate to both of our needs and inquiries. Even when he had other customers to attend to, Frank regularly checked in with us, offering refreshments and keeping us in the loop of what was going on and when he'd be back.

A big shout-out to Sonny and Dennie as well. With everyone's help, I signed off on a beautiful 2024 Cyber Gray IONIQ 5 SEL. Thank you all for your assistance!

Undoubtedly, this dealership stands out as the most exceptional experience I have had. Manager Sonny and the dealer Frank’s exceptional courtesy and patience were evident throughout the entire process, particularly in the after-sales service. His prompt and knowledgeable responses to my inquiries were truly commendable his availability to assist me via phone or in person whenever needed was a testament to his dedication. Frank’s efficiency in handling the tasks was also noteworthy.

Crappy financing. I have excellent credit and my wife told them not to add extended warranty. My English is limited and my wife couldn’t be with me at the signing process. They added extended warranty and some car theft that I still have no idea what it is but it was an additional 1,000. Sales misrepresentation because we told the sales rep I didn’t speak English. They ended up getting some refund for the warranty, which still didn’t help with the monthly payment and they said there was nothing they could do about the theft. It’s only been 16 days and the paper clearly says we have 60 days to cancel but financing claims they only could have done it if we had let them know in the first 3 days. Does it matter ? Anything for that commission. All about the money not about the customer. We love the car but definitely should have gone elsewhere. Buyer beware
