I purchased a 1944 Banner Gibson from this dealer on Reverb, and my experience has been deeply disappointing. Despite the seller's claims of ignorance about the guitar's previous restoration, it became evident that he knew far more than he let on. He couldn't even differentiate a mahogany and maple neck on a guitar which says a lot.

After some digging, I discovered this seller buys damaged guitars on US Reverb, ships them to Europe, and "restores" them. My Gibson was sold in the US just a few months before it magically appeared in his store. Additionally, I found traces of another '40s Martin acoustic supposedly "restored by someone" in his shop.

One month after purchasing the Gibson, I got a cracked bridge on it, despite proper storage and humidification. When I reached out to the seller, he dismissed it as my problem, demonstrating a complete lack of responsibility and honesty in the listing's description. No one knows what is the quality of the restoration was done, as it was obviously done only to flip the guitar and get some cash as fast as he can.

He might have some good guitars, but I urge potential buyers to research sold listings on Reverb thoroughly before considering a purchase from this seller. You might regret it if you don't.
